Another help/suggestion thread

So my beloved Peavey F800B is finally in need of repair. Not bad since I've been beating the hell out of it since the early 80's.

My sights are set on:
Carvin B1500 Vs. Fender 800 pro.

Both somewhat similar in specs and price it seems.
I know that neither are to be considered the best, but the specs/price fit what I need.....like right quick.

I'm leaning heavily towards the Fender. But haven't been able to make up my mind.

Please don't tell me I only need a pf500 or something silly like that....it won't work.
I really only need some input on big power Carvin vs. big power Fender right now.
Thanks all.

A guy in town has a B1500, paired with their top line 410. WOW! Super loud and KILLER tone. I don't know how long he took to "dial it in". Best sounding rig I've heard in a long time. More power than I can ever imagine needing. I have no experience w/the Fender.

Thanks Guys, I really appreciate the input.
Because of the urgency, I am having to go with whats quickly available. Luckily I have found these affordable enough to use until I can save for another if I need to.
I am probably going witht the Fender for now, because I can have possession of it in time.
Its going to be running a Megoliath and 2 18's.....It was killer with the Peavey so this should be a riot I would think....
