I do know that on some lefty Fenders, they only used the "Fender" logo without the other markings. I'm not saying that makes this one legit, but it's at least got a precedent.

Looks legit to me...the markings, routs and such. The date stamp is correct as is Mr. Torres' inspection stamp. He inspected a lot of necks, as I see his name frequently.

Also, this looks to be a later 73.

Looks OK to me too - and I own a 73 Precision!. The bridge, nut and machine heads are definitely right.

Me too! There are a lot of 73's around these days, apparently. Mine is before the change in the year...

The intonation is where it is....I have a bass where the E and A are equal, the D saddle is about 1/4 inch more towards the pickups and the G is almost even with the E and A....

That all being said, the intonation could just need adjusting on the Fender, or it is where it is.

Alot of the time, the lefty headstock decals only had the 'Fender' logo, because fitting the 'Precision Bass' or 'Jazz Bass' lettering would layout really goofy looking.
