Hey all, after a long time at the outer reaches of this forum, have just joined .

a newbie again! Started my bass journey at 10, and at 61 its still surprising me, and still learning.

how do folks navigate life if they dont play bass? Its a mystery.

oh, and if my guitarist friend is reading this, no, the extra two strings DONT make you wiser, sexier or able to choose the best spot on stage……..

anyhow, looking forward to getting stuck in.

I slept in the smoking section of Gatwick airport on a layover 1 time back in the late 90s. When I woke up it felt like I had smoked a carton of cigarettes.

i had a similar experience in a cafe in Amsterdam and felt no pain for days afterward!
