Another newbie

Hi all, I'm Steve , I've been lurking on the forum for a while now and thought I should stick my head above the parapet, so to speak. A bit about me, I only started playing guitar 18 months ago when I was recovering from a long illness I got myself an acoustic 6 string closley followed by a Stratocaster and I enjoy playing both, but just over a month ago my daughters boyfriend lent me a bass, a short scale Squeir, and I fell in love. The whole experience of playing a bass is so much better and really relaxes me, so I went out and got myself a second hand bass and learned what I could from a few books and then I found this site, so much experience and knowledge in one place, a great resource. I look forward to becoming part of this community.
