The problem is that you need a special cable or box to do that. Daisy chaining the cabs still puts them in parallel. I have made numerous series cables. I know of a store that stocks them and will make custom ones to your spec.BBBBut wait. If you're wiring a cabinet, you can use them, wired series, and then you'll have 8 ohms. If the "speakers" you mention in the OP are cabs, then no, but if you need an 8 ohm cab and have two 4 ohm speakers to put in, then wire series and you're fine.
