Yes, I know you've read them before...but I am new to this and the seach function turned up to much to sift through...

I am new to all things "real bass", but alas I am in the market for an EUB. I just bought my first upright, and now have the deepest respect for anyone who has to move on on a public bus...that is a real hassle

I need an electric upright with two things: 3/4-7/8 scale length and will "play" like an acoustic. I don't need it to "sound" like one, just have a similar neck and neck joint. I am mainly going to be using it for practicing at home, that way I can just leave my acoustic in the rehearsal studio. As far as budget, I'd like to stay below 2k.

I've played the Yamaha model, and while nice and pretty much what I was looking for, I'd like to know what else is out there.
