I'm looking for a replacement PJ set for a ca 1979 Fender Precision Fretless.

My requirements:

Passive
Hi bucket or otherwise low/no noise J
not too low output

Aguilar? Bill Lawrence? Bartolini?

I'm looking for a sort of singing sound. John Munson in Trip Shakespeare had it. Here's a crappy recording:

Right now I have EMGs. I promised myself I'd finally replace them when the battery died. They are great on my Modulus but not what I want here. Too compressed and don't sing enough. I guess I somehow want more air.

Thanks
