Another Question on Four Brothers

Janek,

I've really been grooving to Four Brothers a lot lately and I was wondering how you approach soloing over these changes. Do you generally just think F Aeolian and go where your ear takes you or do you think of each phrase being unique to each chord change or is it something else? Thanks for everything.

James

I'm not ever thinking about scales or harmony when I solo no matter what the song is. I'm thinking about melody, and creating new melodies as I play.

Transcribing music from albums will enhance your vocabulary, and allow you to play more naturally through changes, and make new melodies effortlessly.

Easy,

Janek
