Another Randall question

While in my local GC yesterday picking up my "new to me" MIA P-bass I was perusing the amps and saw a used one. The price was right and it was a 15" with a scoop. I did not have a chance to test it out so until then are there any opinions on this beast? Thanks as always.

Are you sure it's a bass amp? I know Randall uses 15s in some of their guitar cabinets (Why, I couldn't tell you), I think it's just a guitar cabinet. If it is, I don't think the speaker could handle a lot of low end before the cone tears, guitar speakers don't move anywhere near as much as bass speakers.

Yeah looking at it again on line, I think you're right. It looked a little funky too, but it was on sale for less than the listed price so I thought i'd get some thoughts before looking again.
