JH would blame any crooked-ness on wood being a natural and imprecise material. Guess he’s never been to a furniture factory where complex wood pieces are assembled perfectly with the same exact precision as if milled from aluminum.

Actually Rickenbacker has been using that style knob for decades, since around 1962. And, they have slotted set screws, unlike the Fender version that uses hex head set screws.

i don't mind the color, but i just don't think kermit makes a good ric. a jazz would look fine in that color - maybe with a maple board and white block inlays...

but no thanks.
