Magnitude 5.3 in Yucaipa near San Bernardino. About 50 miles NNW of the previous one, apparently on the Mill Creek or San Bernardino South branch of the San Andreas. I wonder if the whole thing is going to really let go. The southern segment of the San Andreas hasn't moved in over 350 years, and it could pop off an 8+ if it wanted to. According to Dr. Tom Rockwell, it's overdue.

Yup, felt it strong over here. It's my first time being not indoors and feeling a shaker. Usually I'm thinking a truck passed by or whatever. But I was in my car during my lunch break eating something and listening to the radio. Suddenly I started rockin and rollin. At first I think a truck is behind me barelling through but no such vehicle. Then I look next to me and the truck beside me is rockin as well. That's when I knew it was on. The radio then broke through and said we had one. Nobody else seemed to notice nor care though. Weird. Business as usual.

I would really hope for the San Andreas to pass us over in this lifetime and wake up in another century or so. Please please please...

Munji, When the big one hits. Don't worry, I'l be there first thing to sift thru the rubble to help "rescue" that new Sadowsky. Hopefully it will be well protected in the downstairs "bass vault". Heck I might even reach out a hand to pull you out if I'm not to busy working out some new tune on that Sadowsky! Isn't it great to have buddies on TB who really care?
