another speaker question

I finally decided on a pair of Polk Audio monitor 70's, but I was just wondering how sturdy they are? Growing up with a pair of floorstanding Polk's with a 15'' woofer, they were plenty sturdy, but I don't wanna drop 650 bucks on speakers that will fall over when I sneeze.

They'll probably be OK, (but if you go over to the Parts Express site and see how little the drivers actually cost, you'll wonder why you're dropping 650 bucks on a pair of Polk speakers....$100 of parts in a couple of MDF boxes....)

Of course that's my opinion: the Polk stuff is "OK" but their components aren't as high-end as their ads lead us to believe...

thats certainly new information nashvillebill, and if they aren't as high quality as I thought, then what would you reccomend?
