Another "squire mod" build

Hey guys! Picked up a squier body of the evilbay. Once I get the rout for the musicman pickup done I'm going to have it painted gunmetal. 3 ply black pickgard and maple neck will be next. I may paint the headstock to match. What do you guys think?

Well I had to order the right bit for the router a couple days ago.
I also ordered the neck. Maple board with black block inlays. Front of the headstock is getting painted gunmetal. Next is the black pickguard from warmoth

Well I got the neck and the fret board looked like a roller coaster. Sent it back. I got the routing done. Body will hopefully get painted this week. A friend is doing it for free so it could take a while

I've been a busy bee tonight. I had to mock it up. I soldered the pickup into the original wiring harness. I need a 5/64 drill bit for the pickup mounting. Guard still needs to be painted of course
