another which p-bass would you get thread lol

I know the correct answer to this question (play them and make up my own damn mind) but.....

it's been too long since I had a P-bass and due to my location I can't play anything before I buy it. Of course good deals abound with used gear, but for my situation and budget I'm prob better off buying new.

so.... if you had $700us or less to spend on a new P-bass would you choose a fender player series or a G&L LB-100 tribute. I've owned both USA and tribute G&L and I've had more fender instruments than I can remember, but I've never played a current fender player p or a LB-100.

What a second...you're in Mexico...and you can't find an MIM?

I think the current Fender Player Series instruments are terrific. Plus, if you buy new from an authorized FMIC dealer, you also get a limited lifetime warranty. Admittedly, I don't know what G&L's warranty policy is – it could very well be as good as or better than FMIC's.
