Another Young Lady Kicking Butt!

Seriously how does someone that age get that good?! Must be all the learning resources on the internet because I don't ever recall growing up in the 70"s and seeing anyone let alone anyone that age play that well!

Listen and play challenging music I guess. A lot of TB member would say this is way too much wankery, this challenge too much their old blues and rock stereotype

Gifted from above?
Some just have it in their DNA.

In the '70s, I thought I was pretty good (at 17)...until a few of us stumbled into a dance with The Wooten Brothers playing. A then-barely-a-teen/bass-bigger-then-he Victor Wooten?
Eye-opener...took a few years to get over that one!
:)

More like we're seeing some modern seeming cliches replacing the old cliches. ;)

That said, she's quite good - even if it's simply one stereotype challenging another using your logic.

Better and more learning resources, better instruments at affordable prices, and improvements in music tech in general probably contribute something towards it.

But you still need to put in the time. And she's obviously put in her share of focused time.

If you want to get good - keep practicing.

If you want to stay good - keep playing.
