any body know anything about kasuga bass?

I have a old kasuga bass, given to me by my uncle many years ago. And im trying to get some info on it. But i cant find that much information about it on google. Other that it is Japanese brand...
There are no serial nr. Or anything.

Any help would be great!

If it's bolt on, with a chrome neck plate, get a pic of that, might be another Matsumoku gem in hiding.

So, I'm over at my guitar players house last night. He says, "check out that old bass over there in the corner". It's a Kasuga that looks like a Gibson EB3. The wires are all hanging out of the missing backplate, but the thing looks like its in not too bad shape. Anyone have any experience/knowledge of these? Is it worth restoring? Guy said I could have it for nothing...told him I'd take it and check it out. It may be a short scale or medium scale. I had a Guild Madiera bass
(my first) back in the day that was very similar.

I have the same bass as the op - used to look just like yours. Now it sports a flame paint job and a Seymour Duncan quarter pounder wired to just a volume knob. bought it over 40 years ago and it still rocks

Our bassist when I was in college in the early '70s had a bass that looked just like that, I was on guitar in that band. Unfortunately I don't recall the manufacturer of the bass.

Kasuga had their own factory , unlike most Japanese "brands" of the day .
