Any Experience with Sam Ash Credit Card?

They have a Sting Ray classic I have always wanted, they are also doing a promotion for a 36 months payment for 0% interest. I would have no problem making the payments on time since they would only be $58 a month for the 36 month period. My credit is decent enough to be approved but is it worth it? I wanna see what you guys think before I get myself into potential trouble because I've heard hit or miss things with Sam Ash...and of course I really want that bass.

No concerns with it, just make sure to make the minimum payment and you'll be fine. It's with Synchrony, and their website is one of the better ones because you can schedule payments for whenever you want for as much as you want and can even set up to 12 at a time with just a few clicks. I just do a fixed amount per week and tell it to do 12 of those. Then in 12 weeks do it again.

As a side note, Musicians Friend and Sweetwater are also exactly the same. I have all three cards and take care of them all on that one website. Sweetwater also has 36 months right now and if possible I'd buy from them because you can pick the exact bass you want.

Thanks for the response! Well the only response here lol, thanks for the advice. I unfortunately did not see the one I wanted on sweet water. The one I want has a maple fret-board, and a vintage sunburst finish. I'm super picky with my sunbursts, I hate the ones that look too much like tobacco bursts with too much orange and not enough red. Sam Ash has the exact one I've been looking for. I might just open a credit account with my bank. Lower interest rates and looks better on my credit report.

I forgot that SamAsh also has where you can choose your exact bass from their 'guitars of distinction' so you can't go wrong there :)

Exactly! It's such a crap shoot trying to get a bass with the right sunburst. With them I can actually be happy with it before I buy it. I've been through 4 precision basses and 4 sterling by music mans. I figure by getting the ONE Stingray Musicman I wouldn't have to go through so many basses anymore.
