Any info on the Ampeg B30?

I've been trying to figure out when my amp was made, can't find the information anywhere. It's an Ampeg B30. Anybody have any information on it?

Twenty years later I am asking the same question. I just picked one up for $40 from Goodwill. I assume it's 30w (it sounds like it). It has a 15" but I didn't pull it out to see what is. The treble and midrange controls are effective, the bass knob seems to stop boosting after 1 o'clock. There's an 'EQ shift' toggle to switch between 'soft/hard' - this doesn't seem to do anything so it's probably broken. There's nothing on the back to indicate who made it.

It's an amp, it mostly works. I spent most of today cleaning all the cat p1ss off it. I haven't really put it through the paces yet. Predecessor to the BA series?

Some info for posterity:

Ampeg support said 'we don't have any info on this particular model.'

They sent me a link that basically says these amps were made in Japan by 'Benidai'. There was the B50 (50w) with an extra front port, and the B-80N which was, you guessed it, 80w, and came with a 12" or 15" driver. I've done some image searches and the B-80N's I saw had a '12' or '15' emblem stuck on the front Ampeg badge.

Here is an analysis of the EQ part of the circuit. If you want more information, you can take a photo of the schematic and ask Google AI to analyze it, and ask further specific questions. This is what I did.
