Hello,
I made a New Year's resolution to improve my intonation and bowing on my EUB via cracking the Simandl book open after years of neglect. In studying Simandl this last month I have a new appreciation for it. However, I do find downsides to the book. Namely the position section isn't very musical and I find a reference audio track helps me a LOT in improving intonation and familiarity in the positions. So I have decided to make my own lessons using the Simandl method of fingerings to address this.
It occurred to me that others might be interested in a set of videos where I provide the lesson midi and standard notation files and demonstrate how to use them. What are your thoughts? I'm not looking at selling the lessons. Just trying to gauge if whether investing time in this endeavor will be of use to others. I've included an excerpt of one of the lessons to give you an idea of what I'm thinking of.
Thanks,
sonicnuance
P.S. I have a BSX Allegro Acoustic that I love
