Well...I'm not really into the type of ESP you have, but I am a huge ESP fan!

I own a ESP Vintage Four P Bass and absolutely love it. Construction is top notch like Sadowsky, Lakland, and Fender Custom Shop. I've owned a Mike Lull, Modulus, Hamer USA, Zon, etc...and the build quality is right up there and in some parts as good as it gets IMO. The feel of the neck is outstanding...the finish of the bass is perfect...the components are top notch hipshot, gotoh, and seymour duncan custom pups. I absolutely love this bass...it was between a Fender Custom Shop Pino Palladino or the ESP and I fell in love with the ESP for the tone, looks, and the price was 1/3 of the Pino.

With that being said...I'm sure your bass from hell is fantastic! It certainly has the parts and specs to make it fantastic. Especially if it is from their Japanese factory.

The Eq is BS. I got it on my LTD F250 which basicly the same bass as yours but without the mahogany wings and being the FM / F Series a neckthrough the wings wont affect that much the overall sound. The PUPs on mine are 35HZs so I'm planning an upgrade changing PUs and Eq. Maybe nordies + bart Eq.

PD: F/FM Series are all 35"
