I was offer a Fender MIM for about 320 ( haven't test yet ) and saw this ads , I was thinking if it is a wise choice to choose this over the Fender and save the 100
? Feeling like what? Paying three times what something is worth ?
First, on the Dimarzio comment, if you have not heard Dimarzios with 1k pots you should not roll your eyes. They open those pickups up and add some much needed air.
The second comment was specifically toward a short era of MIJ manufacturing where they used multiple layers of maple as a cost cutting measure. These necks almost always ended up wonky.
