Any paracorders in the house?

A couple of years ago I was looking for a hobby that could be done in small time increments, without a huge investment and that would get me away from screen time on all of the ever present electronic devices. I decided to try my hand at making stuff out of paracord. There are all kinds and sizes. Some folks make "survivalist" stuff but a good many others for decoration or more common uses, like bracelets, belts, wallets, keychains, horse bridles, and yeah even backpacks and hammocks. There are also paracord "pets" or little animals made out of paracord. I'm mostly into the bracelets and key chains but have experimented with a "pet" or two.

One of the attached pics is of my collection of Marvel inspired bracelets. My son is a huge fanboy and has gotten me into it as well. Another is a "Minions" inspired design and the other is just a design that I really liked.

There are lot of folks who make their creations to sell. I've considered it. However for me, it would mean ruining all of the reasons why I started the hobby. To those who do ... rock on. I'll just weave my little creations for family and friends for as long as it's stress relieving and fun.

Kinda cool. Back in the 70’s it was called macramé and was all the rage among the earth mother set.
Seems kinda odd that special warfare operators would revive it for alternative ways to carry extra paracord. I’m also pretty sure it was a way to deal with one of the most common ailments in the military, the hurry up and wait syndrome, as well as another way to identify your tribal affiliation.
