Any recommendations for a 5 string fretted or 6 string fretless?

Hey guys, my name is Ian.
I started playing bass in 2009 and I currently own 2 basses.

Do ya'll think you have any recommendations for a 5 string (fretted) or 6 string (fretless) that I can get in the future? I like to set 'goals' because I have to save up to get my gear - I'm still a student. (I'm turning 18, btw)

I like paying for my own gear because I don't want to use my parents money and I feel that if you're interested about something, you should fund your own interests.
