Double Bass Any recommendations for a bass case that accommodates thick ribs?

I just bought a bass that was described as a full cut 3/4 and it came with a wonderful (albeit tight fitting case). Next to my 7/8 Kolstein Fednt, this bass is virtually ths same size though seeming ly a tad taller at the scroll and def thicker in the ribs. The lower bout on the new bass is maybe an 1/8 in smaller than the Fednt while the upper bout on the new one is maybe 1/4 wider than the Kolstein Fednt. I was thinking maybe I'd pull the trigger on a 7/8 case as that *might work. Before I did, I'd see if my 7/8's case would fit better. Nope, still tight rib thickness wise.

Any recommendations for a bass case that accommodates thick ribs?

You might have to go custom, I love my Messina cases.

With deeper than average ribs, custom is probably the way to go. Messina will make you a great case.
