any smokers switch to Vaping yet?

No worries, it didn't read that way for me. Quitting the cigarettes was the end goal for everybody in this thread, you just skipped ahead one step and quit the nicotine all together too, which is far harder than switching to vaping. I have to honestly say that I didn't even plan on quitting, but because of this thread - I have.

I've never had a problem with email or phone communication from Jay&Sara... it troubles me to know there have been issues :(

I just sent them another email. We'll see if they answer this one. Maybe, somehow they missed my last message to them. You seem to have faith in them, so I'm giving them another try. Do you have an idea of the cost to refurbish? I seem to recall you saying; I looked in this thread, but did not see it.

I think it was $25... but broken should be a repair and I recall Jay taking care of them... even if bought used IIRC

Three months analog free today! :hyper:

I really don't miss it at all. After almost 40 years of on-off mostly casual smoking it's an incredible feeling.

My BP dropped from 150/100 to 118/78. And I am closing in on 10 minute miles - running @ 15 mi/week. No more bad breath, smelly skin and clothes, stained teeth or chomping of breath mints. Since I was never a carton buyer, there were numerous trips to the store to buy smokes, lighters etc. And no more going outside in the cold, heat, snow and rain. Or lying on my medical insurance policy. :ninja:This is very awesome. :smug:

They did answer my email. I'll chalk up the other communication to overlooked or lost.
Looks like they may repair it for free. I'm going to send it out Monday. Has a lifetime warranty; didn't realize that.
I like my Bolts, but miss the compact size of the GLV Mini. The Bolt is almost twice the size.

That sounds more like them... and I hear you on the mini. I can't imagine using anything else. The mini fits perfect in my hand and pocket.

i got on the champix second time round seems to be going ok, about three months off them i think you will always feel like you would like one, i smoked about 35 years big pot smoker for a long time, but just got to a point where i wasnt enjoying it any more, My advise to any one trying to give up would be just keep trying, take it one day at a time

I tried Chantix twice. Didn't help me at all. I've been off cigs for about two years. I smoked for around 40 years; tried to quit many times and ways.
You say that you still want a cig, I don't.

I was crossing a busy city street when suddenly my leg sank to the knee into the sidewalk. Not really, according to everyone who stood there laughing.

Also, a city bus did that ripple thing like the building does in the Matrix when the helicopter hit it.

And I got angry. Very angry.

Alright guys, sometime this week, between now and Thursday, I'll be placing an order of some kind to make the switch. I've got about half a carton, which should last me more than long enough to make the switch completely.

My only hope is that this works much better than the gum. The only thing that stuff did was give me nasty heartburn.

Edit:

I'm fairly certain I'm going to get one of the eGo kits from vapors-choice. I've been going back and forth between that and the Volt, but I think I've settled on the eGo. Last few questions though:

Is the eGo (650 or 1000) going to be mod-able in any way down the road? Like, a MAP tank or a big battery?

How long are those two clearomizers (I think it's a clearomizer kit) going to make it? Do I need to plan on picking up a few spares within a week or two?

And on the mixes, should I add any sweetener or worry about extra flavoring? Or would I be better getting it "as is" at first and making adjustments as I go?

the 1000mah twist kit is Tim's best deal. most people want this much $$ for a pair of 510 stick batts and a charger. a lot of places charge between 30-35$ just for one 1000mah twist battery alone.

the clearomisers that come with the kit are ok, but a bit fragile. some people on VF love the space bubble 6ml tanks that he sells - i have had nothing but flooding and gurgling with them, even with high VG juice - but when they did work, the flavor was excellent (as good as dripping)

oh, and use code (ecf5) for 5% off.
