Anybody have a five string Precision Bass?

This is a Sandberg VM5 (formerly PM5), not a TM5 (formerly JM5). The TM5 has a Jazz type PU at the neck PU position.
I want one, it looks a fantastic bass. The next one on my GAS list.
Can you get a decent vintage P sound with that Delano split single coil on its own?

My bad, it was a PM5 when i ordered mine

its only the sandberg brand one, delanos are extra but is get the haussel ones if i were to order again. I'll have to record some more samples as my last lot stopped working in photobucket.... It was strange, they did work then nope not working lol.
If you want true vintage either leave pre amp flat (glokenklang is very transparent) or pull up volume pot for passive.
The MM is not gonna get true MM tone, but add a little P in the blend and its pretty close, lots of bridgey burp with the thump added in from the P

Thank you, Darthplagis, it's very interesting, I didn't know there were Sandberg AND Delano PUs, and I've heard only good things about Haussels. Thought they were the same.
And I have seen details of your PM5 (with the kitty) on the Photobucket album. The tortoise guard is absolutely stunning.

I wish i could spread the word more, but the basses themselves do that to anyone open to listen.
Once i played one i had to have one. They really are a great company.
Sandberg are tight lipped on who makes the sandberg pickups, they certainly look like delano though.... I cant argue that.
