Anybody have experience with Bandhub?

I received an invitation to join bandhub through youtube. The website says it's free, but part of the registration process was to choose a membership type, and there were two options, both paid. So I quit the process there.
But it looks like the membership went through anyway. Since I don't want to get charged I deleted my acount.

I tried to register again to see if I did something wrong, but now my username is taken (by me? I can't login anymore). I find it all very vague. Anybody has experience with this? Is it worth signing up at all? Is it free? How does their app/software work?
Can't find much info on their site...

I got the same "robobabe" offing to collaborate after supposedly listening to a song listed on my open mic page on YT.
Wasn't sure if the invitation was for me or the woman playing that song on that video, but read about how they
have a spambot sending invites to YouTubers. I figured I would set up an account (freebie) and see what came of
it. I used nothing that wasn't already on YT and no private information. The software is VERY BUGGY!
Took about a dozen tries to get the YT videos to link and show up, and as you said NO sigh of "support"
Will let it sit there a bit and see.

Site is legit and I use it almost daily. Have over 450 collaborations on there. Check out all the Bandhub videos on YT by searching for Bandhub. I thought there was a free option though I have the Pro plan. For 8 bucks a month you get unlimiteof a multi-track recording studio, though not as slick as some would like. You can play with people from all over the globe. You might even get a welcome video from me (I'm cDub on there). I highly recommend it.

I had a similar experience with LinkedIn. As part of a college level class, my Daughter was tasked to create a profile and get 15 contacts in LinkeIn. I started a profile, but aborted midway through as I am really against the privacy violation posed by unrestricted big data. Almost every company you give your phone number or email address to monetizes the information. The same is done with the cookies generated on your computer during routine web searches. There are currently 13 bots logged on to TalkBass...hmm...wonder what they are doing (probably arguing about tort pick guards to stir up tribal angst). Despite not completing the LinkedIn profile I have received several LinkedIn contact requests from people I actually know....so a profile was set up despite the fact that I did not complete it.

IMHO, anytime you get an invite to do something through email it is subject to being a scam. Lot's of scams involve setting up fake websites designed to look like another legit company website with the intent of stealing your personal data as a means of identity theft or some other fraudulent activity. I get fake emails from my bank, Ebay, PayPal, my ISP, etc., on a regular basis saying I need to click a link and confirm my credentials or my account will be locked. Never click on this sort of links. If you are concerned, either call the company or log on to your profile from a known good web address.

FYI... I just joined and got the welcome video but it wouldn’t play
Sorry I missed this response, Haven't been on here lately. Well I can't tell you about why the video wouldn't play but, I hope you were able to use the features of the site. I still go on there daily and it really is fun. No scam that I have found. The site however, is in a bit of a "maintenance only" condition. I'm not connected with it and only have the welcome video since I was one of the early users and was simply asked.
I also believe that I too was originally contacted through Youtube. I took the bait and haven't let go. It has raised my abilities simply since I play there so much now. You can pull your tracks off and edit in a DAW and I have really have had quite a lot of really solid "collabs" with with to edit the tracks. You'll just get a wide range of abilities on here and you have to find the good players.
Again, look me up and see all my collabs. I'm cDub on there. I'm at over 550 now.
