Double Bass Anybody know about a Karl Reiser Bass?

I'm just trying to get started in Bluegrass after alot of years in country with a Fender P-bass (electric). Like most, I have a money issue and an opprotunity to buy a 3/4 Karl Reiser Bass (REIDB34)- for about the same money as something from China, etc.

The plan is to save toward an Engelhardt.

Anybody know about this laminated Reiser??
