Anybody use the Alesis iPad recording console?

I'm getting an iPad 2 and I saw this Alesis recording dock for iPad in the new GC mailer. I thought is would be a cool, easy way to record and share tunes with folks and bandmates.

Works great. Tight fit of iPad into dock (not like the connectors that constantly fall out). Sturdy inputs and outputs 1/4", xlr, midi. Hardware volume pots for main out and headphones are a bit small, but I don't find I ever adjust them. Controlling through midi with a fcb1010 pedal controller has worked well-the iPad can be high enough to see it, but can control hands free.
