Anybody using Schertler gear at the moment?

Im running the DYN-B mixed with a Audio Technica ATM350 into the PUB 280 and seem to be getting good results at low/medium volumes. But, ive been getting bullied by loud drummers and guitar players recently, cant get that extra volume without thrashing it.
Im thinking of maybe trading up to the Bergantino IP112 for some more attitude.

Just curious as to who is using what these days and could offer some Schertler advice...

I haven't used the Dyn-B, but thought it was designed to give a very acoustic sound and eliminate the need for a mic, not to provide the high volume performance of a bridge mounted pickup. It's probably not the best choice for blending with a mic, regardless of volume or the amp you use. You might do better to add one of the popular bridge mounted pickups, and take away either the mic or the Dyn-B.

I still use the original Schertler. Like the Stat-B, but double capsule. I have no problems playing at higher volumes, although it sounds more natural when I can keep my amp low. It's not the best sounding setup possible, but works decently in pretty much any situation, and I don't have the headache of setting up a good blend!

I had a Stat-B. Being electrostatic there's none of the honky piezo midrange scratch/harsh attack. I loved the sound but the mounting on my bridge was a bit fiddly due to the egg-shaped holes under the E&G strings.

I worked out a kluge with wine cork shims. I would have kept it if I had the regular flat-bottomed round holes. I bought a Full Circle with the money from the Stat-B and find it works better with my setup.
