Anybody using TI JF 344 flats on their JMJ?

Thomastik-Infeld long scale on your JMJ Mustang?

In the archives there's a mention of it, but not much detail. Since the stock Fender 9050L are long scale, I think they might work. Both are light gauge, so the E should wrap ok even if it goes past the silk. No?

Experiences?

I have used them on a JMJ. The E string wrapped around the tuning peg a little bit, but it didn't seem to affect tone, intonation

I quite like the Fender 9050s it cane with, and Iike the TIs on an Ibanez hollow body and Fender P I also have.

How would you rate the TIs on the JMJ? What else have you tried on thr JMJ?

I just had the Fender strings it came with, The TI's and D'Daddario Nickel Rounds. The TI Flats were a little darker than on a long scale but sound really great. They can get a little floppy if you play closer to the neck than the bridge. I'm normally not a rounds guy, but I really like the D'Daddarios on the JMJ. You get a really good mid content.
