Anyone else dislike SWR?

old bass 750 matched with 2x15 boogie road ready, was my main rig for a long time. sounds fantastic. still have it. just don't want to lug that big rig around anymore.

I prefer less-like the Acoustic 360 and the Ampeg Flip-Top. Volume, treble bass and SWR just has way too many knobs. I do like the sound, it just takes a long time to find it and I felt the noise level when idling was way too high

I was hit & miss with SWR. I had an SM400 that I never worked for me, though the guy I sold it to loved it and still has it 15 years later. I really dug the Goliath II 410 cabinet back in the days when I didn't mind moving a 90lb cabinet around a couple of times a week. I used a Goliath II Jr 210 and that was always too thin sounding for me, no matter what I used to power it. Finally, I used an ST800 power amp that I loved and wish I never sold. That was a great sounding power amp paired with an Alembix F1-X. That's the one amp I should have kept.
