So my Ibanez BTB came with one of those locking Neutrik Output jacks. About 6 months after buying my bass, I started getting a lot of static and buzzing after plugging in. The more time passed, the problem started to happen while I was playing, and it eventually led to loss of signal.
So I replaced the jack with a new Neutrik one. Everything sounded great, no static or popping. I was problem free....for about 2 weeks. Again I'm starting to have the same problem with popping and stuff after plugging in. Tried different cables, different audio equipment entirely. (With pedals, no pedals)
I've heard of people having problems with these jacks, but this is nuts. Anyone else here have these problems?
