Anyone else have this problem with 35" scale?

So for the last year or so, ive been using my two Ibanez BTBs for practices and gigs. They are both 35" scale. I noticed recently that i seem to get a buzzing noise sometimes when i let go of a fret. I think it may have something to do with simply the speed at which i raise my finger, as it doesnt happen when i lift completely off more quickly. I thought i just needed to adjust my technique.

However, while playing my Mexican Fender Pbass (which i havent played in a while), i noticed i never get this buzzing noise when playing normally. Playing it just feels somewhat better and comfortable as well. This same thing also happened with my Cort Curbow. The main differences between the BTBs and the Fender/Curbow is that the BTBs are 35" scale, while the 2 others are 34".

So do i just have bad technique? Or is 35" scale not for me?
