Those are a lot of fun. I got one off Amazon a couple years ago and it's been in constant rotation. I'm not a chronograph-guy per se, but its a cool movment to look at with the column wheel. And it definitely is affordable.
Just arrived today! Finally got my first Kurono Tokyo. This is the latest offering, the Jubilee Sensu EOL. I'm happy to add a little more color to the collection.

This one wears a bit dressier than most of mine. I love that it's not so thick as their chronograph, and the 38mm case is a nice departure from my oversized sports watches. My wrist is 6.75", so I typically will max out at 42mm for case size.

I've always thought of 38-40mm as just about perfect. Big enough to see, but not too big.

The other day, my wife gained possession of my favorite all-time watch, her late father's 1947 Patek Philippe Ref. 130 chronograph. It was originally purchased by her grandmother for her grandfather, who was a doctor, and used the chronograph function to measure heart rates.
It was my FIL's most prized possession, and it was his daily watch for decades, even for travel all over the world. As far as I know, he only wore other watches for exercising, sailing, and golf. He sent it off to Switzerland every few years for service, and it's running perfectly now.
It's small by current standards, at approximately 34mm. So it fits my wife perfectly, and she's wearing it tomorrow for our older daughter's wedding. She mostly wears an Apple Watch now, but I think she'll keep this for special occasions. Who knows? Maybe it will end up with one of our daughters someday.
I won't be wearing it, but it has stoked my interest in vintage-inspired chronographs, and I'm partial to Vulcain's Heritage Monopusher. But I'm not sure I can get that one approved by the Disbursements Committee! (If I do, of course I'll post it here.)

Awesome. Looks fantastic, and I bet that bracelet is really comfortable. I know a guy who has one of those with a lavender dial, which looks surprisingly cool.
Ya my brother has a Tudor with a pink dial. Very slick. They seem like a solid company for a classic look.
I had to order a bigger strap but it has now been a few weeks living in automatic watch land and they're quite fun. Definitely dig the mechanics. Really pleased with this Xeric Inverter:
I used "The Strap Tailor" because they were high on the Google search and had the size/color I wanted. Anyone got any other companies for straps they like?
This one I exchanged and still kinda regret it. It's weird, from 10ft away I couldn't tell a Tudor from a Seiko from a Citizen from a Rolex given the same materials and colors, but none of them are trying to copy each other. I like the materials (can bang it on stuff and not worry), but everyone knows this is trying to be a Richard Mille and it feels kinda less fun to wear. I like the skeletonization/layout, but it just doesn't feel cool if thst makes sense:

It ticks the boxes for me. That said, I keep running into issues where if I want to wear something on my other wrist I basically can't. I need to find somewhere that takes odd requests for custom straps. Ok no more watches for a while. This one I really like though. Been looking a t it for a couple months and then it goes on sale so hey life's good.

I love interesting non-traditional watches. I have a cool one too by Ciga Designs.
I have a few, including the four on the left. The first is a Seiko 6R15-00A0 (with a new strap), then a Seiko 5. The next two my dad gave me, a Benrus and Bulova, both could use adjustment, but gold's not really my thing. Then a couple solars--Casio G-Shock, my latest purchase (and first in at least a decade) and Citizen Eco-Drive--and a quartz/battery Pulsar up top. Not pictured, an Apple Watch 5 and a few other battery/quartz watches.
Yes. The first four are automatics. Two Seikos, a Benrus and a Bulova. Which is what I meant by, “I have a few, including the four on the left.”
