Anyone else not play video games?

Before I stumbled on Guitar Hero II for 360, I never played video games. I don't even own a system. But it's surprisingly fun. For the most part I just think they're a waste of time and money.

BTW I'm a 19 year old male, go figure.:p

Gaming PC, PS2, Cube, 2x DS lite, GBA, 2x Gameboy color, Gameboy, PS one, N64, SNES, NES, Atari...

The wife and I don't ever watch tv... but we have had a 31" tv with only the PS2 and Cube hooked up.

I'm currently playing FFXII and the wife some Yoshi game on the DS, NWN2's latest expansion and Sim City Societies.

FYI: I'm 39 and the wife is 32 :)

I tried, for the kids' sake. But I'm just not at all interested in them. I'm 45. I'm a mom. I'm busy, and when I have down-time, I don't want to spend it learning how to do something that benefits me not at all. I could be reading, or playing my bass, or learning vocals to something, or learning new mando chords, or working my garden, or visiting friends IRL or online, or watching a movie, or throwing a ball for the dog, or hiking the creek, or a hundred other things. I just don't want to make the time for video games, I guess.

You know what I think is funny/odd?

My husband loves these new football video games, that look like real football. He asked me why I don't watch him play and cheer him on.

WHAT!?!?!? IT ISN'T REAL!!! WHY WOULD I CHEER A NOT-REAL GAME???

I try. I pretend to care, to make him happy. But I can't pretend for more than ten minutes. Then I pick up a bass magazine or something and read when he's not looking.

Booooorrrrrriiiiinnnnggggg!!! Who cheers a fake game?
