Yes, I do. My wife keeps me in a steady supply of "Snore Relief" spray from Breathe Right and it works for me. Three quick sprays to the soft part of my palette at the back of my mouth just before bed does the trick. Stuff ain't cheap though.
Several years ago I had bad snoring AND a moderate case of sleep apnea. My tongue would fall back in my throat and actually block my airway, causing me to wake up several times an hour, although I didn't even realize it.
To diagnose the apnea, you have to schedule a night in the hospital so they can do a "sleep study". If you have it, there are both surgical and non-surgical options. Every case is different, but the non-surgical option that worked great for me was one of these:
It's a mouthpiece I got from a dentist that I wear overnight. It keeps my mouth slightly open and pulls my lower jaw slightly forward, thus keeping the tongue from blocking the airway. It pretty much eliminated both the snoring and the apnea.
If you don't have apnea but have snoring, the first thing to try is learning to sleep on your side. One way to train yourself is to sew a pocket into the back of a t-shirt, then stick a tennis ball in the pocket.
