have any of you used these two books and/or have any good suggestions? these LOOKED like the most useful booklets on info regarding theory and technique i could find on amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Shredding-De...68486&sr=8-1&keywords=death+metal+guitar+book https://www.amazon.com/Music-Theory...1516568727&sr=1-1&keywords=bass+guitar+theory
This one is top-notch for the learning bass player:- Lots more besides chords in it. Easy to understand. I haven't tried the books you mentioned though. Even if you don't play full chords on a bass, this book shows the notes used in a chord.
I have this book too. But I don't like it as much as the above book because it only shows chord note construction in the top upper frets. Whereas the above book shows more of them in lower frets as well plus it's got a lot of other info.
