Uh, do you mean carolina vinegar-based sauce? I've never heard of carolina mustard-based sauce.

That BBQ University dude has a BBQ book. I would suggest buying that.

Yes, I have an awesome one. It's from the Best of the Pillsbury Bakeoff cookbook. I posted it in one of the ask the person below you a question threads. I'd write it down for you but I can't get to my book at the moment and by this point, I assume you've already found a recipe. So I guess this whole post was pointless. Unless, of course, you haven't found one and want to search through old threads. Hope your pork turns out well.

This is a recipe from Steve Raichlen- it's really good.

BASIC BARBECUE SAUCE
2 cups ketchup
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp molasses
2 Tbsp prepared mustard
1 Tbsp Tabasco sauce-optional
1 Tbsp of your favorite barbecue rub
2 tsp. liquid smoke
1/2 tsp. black pepper
Combine all ingredients in a non reactive sauce pan and bring slowly to a simmer. Reduce heat to slow-simmer for about 20minutes until thick and rich.Transfer to a clean jar and store in the fridge

Barbecue Rub

1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup sweet paprika
2 Tbsp black pepper
3 Tbsp kosher salt
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp celery seed
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Use the rest of the rub on some steaks or ribs.

Here's another one that is really good on ribs or chicken.

2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, or more to taste
2 tablespoons molasses
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons liquid smoke
2 teaspoons dry mustard (preferably Colman’s)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1. Combine the ketchup, brown sugar, lemon zest and juice, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, mustard, onion powder, and pepper in a nonreactive saucepan and whisk to mix.

2. Gradually bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat and let simmer until thick and flavorful, 8 to 10 minutes. Taste for seasoning, adding more lemon juice if necessary. Transfer the sauce to a bowl or clean jars and let cool to room temperature. Refrigerate the sauce, covered, until serving time; let it return to room temperature before using. The sauce can be refrigerated for several weeks.
