I have one and it works just fine with my active basses and my guitar player loves it, since I've let him use it a few times, now he wants one. Haven't had the battery die on me yet, but I make sure it's fully charged and I haven't had a gig longer than 5 hours yet and don't expect to. If I have 2 gigs in the same day, as long as I have a couple of hours in between gigs, it will fully charge again during that time..
I bought this for $120 and it worked fine with my active 18v Carvin Bass for around 7 gigs. Then it just went dead before a second set was to begin. It lights up and everything just won't connect. I kinda knew that for this price get get what you pay for. I guess that's about $17 a gig....Oh well? Could've bought a nice Mogami cable for that price though
I suspect a generic Chinese made unit that sells under 10 or 15 other brand names.
My experience with them has all had nothing to do with performance, which I'm unsure about. Lots of people show up at my jams with them, and one end or the other always has a dead battery. I still haven't had a chance to hear one.
No experience but I do have a Line 6 G10 that
works well for the money. The Carvin sure is compact.
The G10 receiver is also the TX charger, a nice
feature as there is only one battery and I recharge
during breaks.
