I was hoping someone would post about it here, but perhaps it's still too new a release and too high a price for many. It's nearly a month's rent for me, so way-pricey.

I have one and it sounds pretty good with a bow. The bowing angle is a bit tricky, especially on the third and fourth strings due to the narrow string spacing but I feel like it will get easier in time. It also makes bowing chords and arpeggios really easy compared to pretty much any other upright I've played. One issue I've found with it that I'm still seeking a solution for is that, due to the shorter scale length, it's hard to find an ergonomic bowing position with a German bow that doesn't put extra strain on my right wrist. With a 3/4 scale DB I would be able to extend my arm a lot lower but I have to either play with my arm in tighter or lower it on the stand to fully extend my right arm, which leads to problems with my left wrist angle. I'm considering picking up a French bow to see if that's more ergonomic.

I have one & it sounds great both bowed & plucked (the UB805 5 string Version which I have on order).
