Anyone here famous?

Like others have said hear, don't conflate having material on the iTunes store with being famous. It's very easy to get your material listed on the iTunes store. But getting it to sell enough that you get significant sales so that you're deemed famous? That's another story entirely.

I've got recording credits on three albums that are currently listed in the iTunes store. One of which I would just as soon have never been involved in producing. I'm proud of the other two records, but they haven't sold nearly enough for me to even consider leaving my job and pursuing music as a career.

The bass player for Sixpence None the Richer posts regularly.

TBer Tim Marks may not be famous, but he's played on multiple Taylor Swift albums.

Juan Alderete
He has posted a few times, most notably in JMJ's forum. Last time was a while ago though, I think.
I'm a big fan of Brad Houser, and have come across a few old postings from him on TB...
He was in the Lakland thread a couple months ago, giving away a DJ5 body for the price of shipping.
IIRC, the bass player for Neon Trees has dropped in on occasion. Notably in Justin Meldal-Johnsen's forum, as they've worked together in the past.
Branden used to post regularly in the Lakland threads and the classifieds. He's a little too busy for that now, I suppose.:)

I won't argue that Alex is a true great, but even he says that Erlend is the "best death metal bassist of the generation".

I think Erlend is better with his lines, he follows the guitar a lot less, and at points is more technical. (I've never heard Alex use slap-sweeping :p )

You guys are both wrong, Steve DiGiorgio has them both crapping yellow.
