Anyone here played a Marco Marcustico bass?

I've found a few videos online, and the sound is more like an upright bass than any bass guitar variation I've heard to this point. I might be interested in buying one, but they are difficult to find to try one out, and testimonials are scarce from those who have played them.

Never heard of one, so great googly moogly...a bit too salty for ne, but really cool looking!

How much do they cost, do you know?

When I asked a few years ago they were about 2800 €. I suspect they have gone up a tad but it is just a suspect

Is there the ability to adjust the string height in the bridge? Or is it like a violin, where the bridge is carved for a specific string height?

The string is carved and not adjustable But the string height is adjustable by adjusting the angle of the neck. Quite easily with the turn of a screw

last i checked it was over $5k, probably closer to $6k with shipping and import duty and a 12 month+ wait...
