He's allowed to go as crazy as he wants because nobody puts a saddle on Alec John Such!
I tried to put a saddle on him back in 1987 after a Bon Jovi concert in New Jersey. I still have the scars to prove it, but when anyone asks about the cause of my injury I lie and say that a horse bit me.
Dude, you're one of the few who has tangled with The Maestro and lived to tell about it.
Well, I don't know how much of a "life" I'm left with, and I'm still stuck with this saddle that's covered in blood!

No offense to Les Claypool, but Yoshihiro Naruse was kicking bass ass in Japan when Les was still in grade school. He is the Larry Graham of Japan, however his musical vocabulary goes far beyond this. He is playing an 8 string Tune bass, by the way.
It's not my cup of tea but he sure is a good entertainer. Alec John Such is an entertainer par excellence, however. Yoshihiro needs to go back and watch "Bad Medicine" on YouTube.
