Anyone here wear "bass clothes"?

I almost always wear pants whenever I play bass.

Not so much a particular shirt, but I do only wear certain belts if I'm playing bass or guitar. I strongly recommend them to everyone here. Got to your local police/EMS/fire uniform shop and get a velcro belt: plain leather, no buckle to scratch the instrument.

I think that's a nylon belt. One of those will still scratch up your finish. Get the leather version. It's worth the bucks.

I wear a bassman's fadora style hat that my dad bought for me in Cabo San Lucas sometimes. As for the rest of my attire I don't over or under dress, but also don't try to come off as full blown rock star attire.

Jeans and a black tee shirt or button down shirt....short sleeved....oh, and my RayBan Wayfarers when the lights are on or playing outside. In fact, I'm rarely without my Rays...

I undoubtedly rock at least 15 times harder in black tee shirts that are a size too small. Not to show off my physique, or lack of, just a size too small.

Almost always wear a tie and vest for gigs. Dresses up my jeans/Chuck Taylors, but isn't too hot on stage like a sport coat.

Unless it's very hot in the summer, I always wear my black sport coat as the padded shoulder helps hold the strap from slipping.
And I almost always wear a hat...

I wear V necks when I play bass (I play bass every day, so it's a good excuse to wear V necks everyday). If at church, a black V neck and a red flannel.

I need some nicer shirts.... And a nicer red flannel.... And a nicer bass.... And a haircut... Oh and some new gigging shoes... Maybe some gigs too... Maybe I just need a life...

Im a bass newb so I dont feel im ready for bass cloths, I did recently buy a Fender Beanie i might start wearing.

I have a particular item of clothing that I like to wear every time I play bass at our church services. I call it my bass sweater. it's a lightweight black pullover with fine white stripes on it. It seems to want to bond perfectly with my leather strap, so when I position my bass is stays there without shifting. Maybe there's a bit of superstition involved, but I seem to play better when I wear it. And I always have to jack up the right sleeve, it's always dragging on the strings.

Well, here I am, almost 4 years later, I no longer have that black pullover sweater, and I no longer play at our church. It's amazing the changes you can go through in a relatively short period of time!
