Anyone here wear "bass clothes"?

I have a particular item of clothing that I like to wear every time I play bass at our church services. I call it my bass sweater. it's a lightweight black pullover with fine white stripes on it. It seems to want to bond perfectly with my leather strap, so when I position my bass is stays there without shifting. Maybe there's a bit of superstition involved, but I seem to play better when I wear it. And I always have to jack up the right sleeve, it's always dragging on the strings. :)

I have a black leather vest I only wear when gigging or at some event as a bassist. I also have two plain black t-shirts I only wear when gigging.

By wearing a consistent outfit people remember who am I. And by making it very plain, I can wear it almost anywhere.

Actually I can't stand wearing long sleeves when playing for the most part. I ALWAYS need a shirt long enough to just cover my belt buckle!

Ideally, something with short sleeves or rolled up sleeves. Covers the belt buckle is another good thing, but since i double so much-i just move my belt buckle all the way to my right. Beyond that-anything that isn't super slick in texture.

At gigs since I'm a girl I cant exactly wear the same thing over and over :) so no bass clothes here. Just gotta check for anything the might scratch the bass (buttons or whatnot)... after seeing the back of a friends guitar with a 1/2 missing chunk from all the nights on his belt buckle......no thanks :).

Although, I started making t shirts for my band and am wearing those anywhere I wear a t shirt.......free advertising ya know :).

Not so much a particular shirt, but I do only wear certain belts if I'm playing bass or guitar. I strongly recommend them to everyone here. Got to your local police/EMS/fire uniform shop and get a velcro belt: plain leather, no buckle to scratch the instrument.
