Anyone install HB2 tuners on MIM Fender?

Has anyone ever installed Hipshot HB2 tuners on a MIM Fender?

I know the HB7 machines are made as drop-in replacements, but I'm wondering iv the HB2 tuners will fit and cover all the holes of the MIM (HB7) machines.

Any pics are extra appreciated!

The back plates on the HB-2 tuners are bigger, so they will cover the holes from the original tuners, but you'll have to drill new holes for the HB-2 tuners as the holes won't line up. Also, if the serial number is on the back of the head stock, the HB-2's might slightly cover it (just something to think about).

Thank you for your reply! I'm going to just get the HB7 tuners. I like the look of HB2 more, but I don't want to deal with the hassle
