My mom stumbled onto this bass for free about 15 years ago, and it's been in my closet for a long time. I recently dug it out and it's an awesome looking bass. I brought it to the music store to see what it needed to start playing it. Apparently, either these basses don't have truss rods, or they're not adjustable. Either way, the neck needs to be reset (the saddles are all the way down and the strings are still to far from the fret board). I'm bringing it to a guy to do it, and I'm wondering if anyone knows how these things sound? Or really know anything at all about these basses, since I wasn't able to find any kind of information on these online.
The type of music I play is in the style of green day/foo fighters kind of stuff, with some heavier stuff mixed in. Do you think this bass will sound good for this style stuff? Any information would be much appreciated.
