Kiesel (formerly Carvin) now has 30” scale as an option, at least on their Vader bass model. Which isn’t helping my G.A.S. any

I've got an SB-60 and the neck (Hofner-made) is unbelievably comfortable. Easily my favorite short scale, solid body bass I've owned.

The Blonde SB60 was the first good bass I owned in HS. Mine was a 75' ( purchased new) and I would love to find another, but not for $1K+. (Guess I should have kept mine). After 1975 they went to a 4 on the side head stock and a good friend has one of those.
