Hey everybody has any of you tried the Aguila Hot Pickups They Look Awesome do they give you that super hot sound..how do they compare to Quarter Pounder Ducans both have the huge pole pieces.... Would appreciate the input

Anyone Tried Aguilar Hot Jazz Pups

I have tried them. Aguilar had a Lakland JO with HOT J-style pickups, and it sounded incredible. Everything you could want from a normal J-bass pickup, just more of it. Not too bright, just right! I prefer these to the Duncans.

I wondered the same. Settled for a Pair of DiMarzio Ultra Jazz (Cream) only cost me $110 fir the set. Supposedly a great match with the Audere 4 band I'm going to use them with.
